I am working on a project where I am interviewing individuals about their perception of two organizations. The results have surprised me. While I wasn’t at all surprised that one firm was rated very positively, I was shocked that the second wasn’t.
What was the difference? I actually asked and what I learned was that it wasn’t technology, but authentic care and interest.
So, success could on the surface look like more, better faster, but it rarely is. Most people want to feel appreciated and a few kind words and actions can create even greater success.
