This morning when I was meditating, I realized something in a new way: Victory is in the eye of the beholder. So what does this mean?
A victory is only real, true, and potentially progressive if you feel it. Otherwise, it’s a checkmark, more money in the bank, and external validation. Not that there is anything wrong with material benefits. The problem is that they don’t last. Without tangible acknowledgement of yourself and others who helped you, the good feelings evaporate and are replaced by a hunger for more, more, more.
Yet with positive acknowledgement of what you have accomplished and how others have helped you get there, you create an ever-stronger foundation to build, grow, and advance.
So celebrate all the stuff you achieve and thank the people around you who provide support, knowledge, and resources.
Have a great day,
