I had a fair amount of time over the last few days to think and I pondered (once again) why certain people see things others can only dream of retrospectively. I think you know what I’m talking about: I have one relative who sees a product and feels that the inventor stole her idea.
There are many ideas out there, but what makes them great is feedback and reworking – again and again and again. One of the big differences between a successful inventor, entrepreneur, or even filmmaker and my relative is the willingness of the former to put a not so great idea out into the world. This bold move will yield more critical feedback than accolades at the beginning – but with courage, you can use what you receive to craft something incredible.
Have a great Monday,
