I am reading, Be the Best at What Matters Most, in preparation for a podcast interview I am doing late this month with its author, Joe Calloway. This concept is straightforward, focusing, and very practical.
In one of the middle chapters, Joe, promotes the idea of clean thinking. Now he is not talking about the opposite of creating “dirty” or even negative thoughts. According to Joe (and many others – including Steve Jobs), clean thinking is about clarity. It is a direct and positive route to simplicity and profitability.
The catch is that clean thinking and simplicity (which on the surface look easy) are way more difficult to achieve than messy thinking and complexity.
Whoa – I need to clear my desk and brain.
