Your Reputation Precedes You

I was chatting with new friend last week and we were talking about the power of influence and our reputation on and offline. He has conducted extensive research relationships and reputation with people in the workplace, home, and community. His results were not a surprise, but important nonetheless.

Even young children have reputations as a result of previous behavior. Consequently, individuals are often treated based more on the past than the present. That said, we can change perceptions by our actions today and into the future.

Something to contemplate.

Have a great weekend,
Anita
