Power: Inside Out

I had brunch with a group of people yesterday – some people I knew and a few individuals that I was glad to meet. Our conversation turned to how to overcome challenges and weaknesses.

One of the biggest takeaways for the group (including me) was the reminder that obstacles start in our heart. While this may sounds a little ephemeral, it is not. In fact, it’s a perspective that can help you in real, concrete, and practical ways. Once you are able to see the “problem” as something you can change by changing yourself, there is a power shift. No longer are you a victim of circumstances, you have the ability to direct your actions in ways that help create positive movement forward.

Have a great day,
