Listening Too Much

I am working on a book project and I work best when I have a solid working title in mind. It helps me focus, create an outline, and find stories that demonstrate key concepts.

With regard to coming up with titles, I have many, many ideas – and each one sounds brilliant in the moment. I like to test drive my titles and l listen to what each person says. Sometimes I listen TOO much. While each individual has great thoughts, ideas, and suggestions, every new recommendation makes me question myself.

Ultimately, I need to know what I want to convey and trust myself to know what title best represents me, my objectives, and my audience.

Best regards,
