Commitments: Friend or Foe

It’s so easy to NOT do what we say we are doing to do. Sometimes, we “forget” what we promised and other times, we just decide not to follow through. Yet, when we fail to keep a commitment (big or small), we jeopardize our success, happiness, and relationships. Now, I am not suggesting that anyone can keep absolutely every commitment – but you can make it easier on yourself if you say “yes” to things that you really want to and that you have the capacity to complete.

Commitments that emerge from a sense of care and responsibility can be excellent “friends” who keep us growing, advancing, and focused on where we want to be and who we hope to become.

Have a great day,
