Excuses Derail Success

I heard someone speak today and I will tell you that I left truly inspired. Here is a man with a great life now – and he started living with no running water, electricity, or gas. His senior year of high school, he lived in his car and picked up empty cans to have some money to buy food.

It took him 14 years to complete his undergraduate degree working full-time and supporting his family. The list of challenges could go on and on – yet there were no excuses about anything.

Today he is very successful – and even more, he takes obstacles and uses them (as he did in the past) to increase his capacity, compassion, and credibility.

Wow, what a guy!

Have a great week,
