Who Has My Answer?

I met someone recently, John, who was seeking an answer to a question that was troubling him. I suggested that he use the event we were attending as an opportunity to chat with people, learn from them, and, if appropriate, ask for help. One of my friends saw him later in the day and we was going around to different people asking, “Can you help me?” again and again and again. My friend pulled him aside and suggested that he might want to listen first and ask later (if at all) so that he could develop insights and his own answers with others’ help.

Remember: while others made have knowledge, ideas, and even resources to assist you in achieving a goal, ultimately, you have the answer that is right for you.

Have a great day,
