The Courage of Now

I was chatting with a friend, Tracy, this week and he told be about something he had been afraid to do for years, which he had recently accomplished. I asked him what had changed that allowed him to move ahead on a goal he had started multiple times without a positive result.

Tracy shared something perhaps obvious and yet deeply profound. “I only ask myself to be courageous in the moment. That I can do. It’s thinking that I have be brave forever is what stopped me each and every time.”

My friend, Tracy, is quite wise – filled with excellent advice.

Thanks, Tracy!!
