Stand Up For What You Really Want

I was working on a project with someone. I invested a lot time during the process. When I received the output of our collaboration, I was deeply disappointed and no longer wanted to participate. This was especially true when the originator of the project brushed off my concerns as “no big deal”. With prompting from a smart associate, I realized that I could make my portion of the project what I wanted it to be. I sat down and rewrote it and felt much better when I did. Now, I don’t know if it will be accepted. If it is, great. If it isn’t, then I believe what I wrote will create more value somewhere else.

Honor yourself, your values, and your ideas.

Have a good day,
