I see people at two ends of the spectrum – those who want to be bold – first, last, and in the middle and those who want everything even keel (at all times). Clearly, neither extreme works. For the “Boldies”, a pause to renew, refresh, and chill is a good idea. For the “Even Keelers”, it’s not really possible to be in that stay and, at the same time, more forward.
So my suggestion is be bold so that you stretch yourself with periodic timeouts (the good kind) to check in, catch your breath, and be ready to move ahead again – often at an accelerated pace.
