Success Starts Now

I was with a group of friends over the weekend who, collectively, have been working on a big goal for several years. While progress is clear, it hasn’t been sustainable. I do believe that something important has changed – a sense of urgency has kicked in. This, in and of itself, will increase the probability of success. There is even research data to back this up. In his book, Originals, Wharton professor, Adam Grant talks about how urgency can be the deciding factor of success or failure – in a project, goal, or business.

So if you are just thinking about doing something and the action to achieve it is in some unspecified time the future, if you really want to succeed – start now.
